William Ayres

Born on December 26, 1944 of an anti war father, he quickly adopted his father's anti war views.
In the 60's he was a member of the Students for Democratic Society (SDS).
In my travels around the world, I have come to realize that when an organization or a Nation starts using the title of democratic, that organization or nation is everything but democratic. Take for example East Berlin. Demokatische Republik Deutschland, as was it's original name, meant Democratic Republic of Germany; but the city was everything but democratic. Hugo Chavez touts his revoloution as a democratic revolution, ask Mark Lloyd, from the Obama administration.
So, when these kids called their organization democratic, you can say that it was Marxist.
In 1968, he became a leader within the organization's Detroit branch of the SDS. Under thename of the Jessy James Gang, his group took the first steps toward becomming the Weather Underground.
As time went by, he became even more radicalized, to the point where he acknowledges planting several bombs, to include the Capitol Building, the Pentagon, police stations, etc. He admits these facts in his book "Fugitive Days".

"In the mid-1990s, Ayers and Dohrn hosted a meet-and-greet at their house to introduce Obama to their neighbors during his first run for the Illinois Senate. In 2001, Ayers contributed $200 to Obama's campaign. Ayers also served alongside Obama between December 1999 and December 2002 on the board of the not-for-profit Woods Fund of Chicago. Some say that William Ayres hired Obama to chair the Chicago Annenberg Project. If Ayres hired him, that means that at one time, President Obama was his employee. We can verify they served together, but haven't found concrete evidence of Ayres hiring Obma.
Today, he claims to be: "distinguished Professor of Education and Senior University Scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and founder of both the Small Schools Workshop and the Center for Youth and Society, teaches courses in interpretive and qualitative research, urban school change, and teaching and the modern predicament. A graduate of the University of Michigan, the Bank Street College of Education, Bennington College, and Teachers College, Columbia University, Ayers has written extensively about social justice, democracy and education, the cultural contexts of schooling, and teaching as an essentially intellectual, ethical, and political enterprise. Why do we need to know him? Barak Obama launched his political campaign from Ayres living room, Michelle Obama worked in the same law firm as Ayres wife, known homegrown terrorist Bernardine Dohrn. Ayres was member of the board that hired a young Obama to work on the Annenberg Project.
